The program is an initiative owned by the Paspalis Group and supported by the Northern Territory (NT) Government. The program assists overseas nationals obtain NT Government nomination if they meet the following: The program assists overseas nationals get Northern Territory Government nomination. They need to show commitment to involvement with the Darwin Innovation Hub.
- The MINT program assists overseas nationals who have demonstrated their commitment to supporting the NT’s innovation ecosystem by investing in the Paspalis Innovation Investment Fund No 2 (“PIIF 2”) that invests in to venture capital projects which provide an economic benefit to the Northern Territory innovation ecosystem.
- show commitment to supporting the NT’s innovation ecosystem, and
- meet the nomination criteria set by the NT Government.
The program seeks to:
- raise start-up capital for the NT innovation ecosystem
- leverage visa programs managed by NT Government
- maintain the integrity of the NT Government nomination programs
- support genuine applicants who will benefit the NT in areas such as venture capital, population increase, filling skills shortages and business activities
- ensure that local Northern Territorians are not disadvantaged.
To be eligible for NT Government nomination through the MINT program, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Common criteria, Applicants must:
- prove you will live in the Northern Territory and meet the standard genuine intention criteria
- prove you have a clear understanding of the criteria and their obligations
- have enough funds for your own settlement
- provide fulsome and accurate applications
- disclose all relevant information
- have no links to other regions of Australia, unless you also have strong links to the NT;
if you do not have strong links to the NT you may only be eligible for a provisional visa
- not be an international student, unless you have strong links to the NT
- submit nomination applications within two months of signing an agreement with Paspalis Group.
Skilled migration specific criteria, you must:
- meet Australian Government threshold criteria for the relevant visa
- apply for an occupation on the Northern Territory Skilled Occupation Priority List and the relevant Australian Government occupation list.
The Migrant Innovation Northern Territory (MINT) program is an initiative owned and managed by the Paspalis Group.
- submit Nomination applications though the relevant application process within 2 months of signing an agreement with Paspalis Group.
- Applicant makes application to invest in PIIF 2 and pays $515,000 to PIIF 2 Trustee (must be within 30 days of receiving provisional approval). Information Memorandum is available on request.
- PIIF 2 Trustee perform AML/KYC on funds transfer and completes PIIF 2 application process.
- Once application to PIIF 2 is successful, Paspalis informs MigrationNT.
- MigrationNT grants State nomination.
- Visa application forwarded to Federal Department of Home Affairs

北領地創新移民計劃 (Migrant Innovation Northern Territory，簡稱MINT計劃) 是由達爾文創新中心(Darwin Innovation Hub) 和Paspalis 資產管理 (Paspalis Asset Management) 聯合發起，北領地政府特別支持的一項投資移民計劃。簽證類型涵蓋190技術移民州擔保簽證，491偏遠地區技術移民州擔保簽證，以及188類商業移民簽證，非常適合海外候選人申請。
符合要求的技術類申請人及商業簽證類申請人，需向北領地政府指定的Paspalis創新投資基金投資51.5萬澳元，便可獲得北領地政府的州擔保提名。
